Working Out When You Don't Want To!

Working Out When You Don't Want To!

Shew.  Ya'll- some days are just hard to get yourself together enough to find time to workout.   I've struggled lately to find a balance in my life, but I'm making workouts a priority again.  IF you want results, YOU WILL FIND THE TIME.

Results don't come from being a slacker.   Results don't come from taking a week or two off.  Results come from dedication, self control, and putting in the work!

So, why should you workout?   Let me tell you all the reasons why working out is good for you!

Did you know that working out is good for your mental health?   It reduces anxiety and stress.  It can help reduce the symptons of depression.  It actually improves your mood!  Say whaaaat?????   I'm not kidding!   Physically moving your body can help your mental health so much!

Not only does it help with all of that, but working out consistently can improve your sleep habits and help you to have more energy!   Most days, I try to get my workout in during the early afternoon BEFORE that mid afternoon slump hits.  Why?  Because it gives me a second burst of energy for the day.   Now, I realize that isn't possible for everyone.  A morning workout is great too though because it can help you to have energy throughout the day.   An early evening workout can help you make it through the rest of the day!

Working out can help you maintain or gain control over your nutrition habits.  Who wants to ruin what they've accomplished by eating crap food?   Not me!

Muscles are sexy ya'll!  And...... working out consistently can improve your sex life.   Just sayin'.

Here's one of the biggest factors for me- working out can help you have better focus.  Brain fog is real and when you work out, you tend to have less of that fogginess and more clarity!  Consistently working out can also help improve your memory and brain function.   This is not a joke- it's a proven fact!

As far as your physical health- moving your body consistently improves your immune system, keeps your heart healthy, and can making breathing easier!  It also lowers your risk of chronic illness.  When you work out consistently, you also burn more calories during rest times.   Muscles truly burn fat!

The first day is the hardest.  The first one to three weeks is all about forming a habit and figuring out what works best with your schedule.   Results don't occur overnight or immediately, but I GUARANTEE if you find a workout you love and you stick with it, you will see results!   The scale is not always indicative of results.  Sometimes you may not lose a single pound, but you may drop a clothes size and/or lose inches.   The scale is not what you should use to judge your progress.  Measure and take pics before, during, and after completing a program- that is your true measure of progress!

If you need help finding the right program or need some motivation, feel free to reach out to me!  I've got you covered with a variety of workouts available!
