Date Night Ideas

Date Night Ideas

I've been compiling a list of date night ideas for you all, since the last couple blog posts have been all about spending time with your spouse.   Some of these cost money, but some are truly free.

Cook dinner together

Go for a walk

Go for a drive to see the fall foliage or the gorgeous scenery.

Go to Target or Walmart and pick out a funny greeting card for each other.

Go grocery shopping together.

Meal plan together.

Play a board game.

Watch a tv show or movie together.

Give each other a back massage or a back scratch.

Go get a massage together.

Get pedicures together (even men need their feet massaged sometimes).

Go to the park and swing together.

Go see a movie

Grab your favorite snacks and go sit outside under the stars.

Find a charity you both love and volunteer together.

Go sit by the river and talk.  (Or lake... or ocean).

Go bowling.

Putt putt golf together.

Do a craft together.

Go to a thrift store and find the weirdest item in the store.  Or pick out a wacky outfit for each other.

Hit up the farmers market.

Take a day trip.  You don’t even need a destination in mind- one of you can choose which direction to go.

Go to a sporting event together.

Find a nearby town with a cute downtown area and go window shopping.

Do a Bible study together.

It's so important to have time set aside for your spouse each day, even if it's just ten minutes.   Weekly date nights (or biweekly or monthly) are very important to make sure you don't lose the spark in the relationship.  Let me know what your favorite date night activity is in the comments!
